Hello! Today’s breaking news. Starting June 24, 2025, the My Number Card function has been officially integrated into iPhones. You can now perform administrative services and identity verification on your iPhone without carrying the physical card!
Service Overview
Launched Today: The Digital Agency officially launched the service to add My Number Card functions to Apple Wallet on iPhones starting June 24, 2025.
Available Functions

Logging into Myna Portal: Easy and secure access via Face ID/Touch ID. Obtaining certificates at convenience stores: Getting copies of resident records or seal registration certificates is now possible with just an iPhone. Face-to-Face Verification function (planned for July): A mechanism to verify identity using an iPhone at stores and counters is planned to roll out sequentially.
Compatibility and Setup Steps
Compatible Models: iPhone XS or later running iOS 18.5 or higher. Setup Steps: Update the "Myna Portal" app to the latest version (v71.0.0). Enter face recognition + PINs (for card face input and digital signature). Register the card information using the iPhone’s NFC and add it to Apple Wallet.
Security and Response to Loss
Card data is encrypted and stored inside the iPhone, accessible only by the user authorized via Face ID/Touch ID. In case of loss: Remote lock and suspension are possible via Apple’s "Find My" app or the My Number support desk.

Future Outlook
Strengthened Integration with Face-to-Face Verification App: Planned for mid-July. iPhones will serve as a means of identity verification for banking and contract procedures. Expansion of Online Administrative Services: A wide range of services, including Myna Portal, will be completed on a single smartphone. Integration of driver’s licenses into the My Number system is yet to be decided but discussions are expected to proceed.
With the launch of "My Number Card on iPhone" starting today, administrative procedures, identity verification, and certificate retrieval are now possible on a single smartphone. A more convenient and smart digital administration than ever before is finally becoming a reality.
